Data Center Cable Puller / Tech I – $18 to $22/hr. DOE
We are currently hiring Data Center Cable Pullers and Tech I Technicians with 6+ months of experience performing low voltage installation in a data center or commercial construction environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the New Albany, OH area. Qualified candidates should submit an updated resume for consideration. Data Center Cable Puller Duties:
Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, and Fiber Optic cable in new construction and existing data center environments
Dressing, labeling, and terminating low voltage cabling
Installing support structures including ladder racks, racks, j-hooks, cable trays, and basket trays
Assisting with rack and stack installations, server racks, patch panels, and cabinet buildouts
Working alongside lead technicians to complete large-scale data center installations
Maintaining a safe and clean job site while following all safety protocols
Qualifications:
6+ months of recent experience pulling low voltage cable in commercial construction or data center environments
Experience with CAT5, CAT6, or Fiber Optic cable installation
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC standards is a plus
Fiber experience including LC/SC connectors and splicing is a plus
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and schematics is preferred
Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, boots, etc.)
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive starting pay: $18-$22/hr. DOE
