Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures Provide compassionate care to animals during their stay at the hospital Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery Perform kennel duties and maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Skills: Experience in veterinary assisting and small animal care Proficient in animal restraint and surgical preparation Ability to educate clients on pet care and treatment plans Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery Strong communication skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Skills: Fear Free Certified Knowledge of Cornerstone software Knowledge of Idexx In house lab machines Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $34,000 to $44,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes Simple IRA, flexible schedules, sick leave, holiday pay, and paid time off as well as discounted pet care.
