The Great Library Co. is seeking a Senior Construction Site Manager to lead onsite construction operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.Position Summary
The Senior Construction Site Manager will oversee daily jobsite activities for construction projects in Mountain View, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines. This role partners with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to coordinate resources, manage site readiness, and maintain high standards of workmanship.
In addition to driving progress on-site, the Senior Construction Site Manager will monitor jobsite performance, support effective communication across teams, and help resolve issues that impact cost, schedule, or quality—while maintaining strict adherence to applicable safety practices.Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day onsite construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and jobsite logistics to keep projects on track.
Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, codes, and company standards for quality and workmanship.
Promote a strong safety culture by supporting safe work practices, addressing hazards promptly, and ensuring compliance with site safety requirements.
Track project progress and resolve operational issues (materials, sequencing, access constraints, inspections) that affect timelines and outcomes.
Communicate status, risks, and updates to relevant stakeholders, including maintaining accurate onsite documentation.Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing construction projects in an onsite leadership role, including day-to-day coordination of trades and schedules.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, quality control practices, and interpreting project documentation.
Strong understanding of jobsite safety expectations and the ability to enforce safe work behaviors consistently.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple projects or complex jobsite conditions with competing deadlines and resource constraints.
Familiarity with construction compliance expectations, inspections, and documentation practices.
Demonstrated ability to coach and lead teams on-site while driving performance and accountability.
Track record of resolving field-level issues efficiently to protect schedule, cost, and quality.Compensation
