Nurse Practitioner NP

Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will independently provide comprehensive care in a primary care clinic setting, managing a medium patient caseload of 10-20 patients per day. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while coordinating care and educating patients with a focus on delivering culturally competent services, including Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations

Develop and implement treatment plans

Prescribe medications appropriately

Educate patients on health management and preventive care

Coordinate patient care and follow-up

Monitor patient health and progress

Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed

Provide services fluently in Spanish to meet patient needs

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in nurse practitioner practice

Nurse Practitioner Certification

Nurse Practitioner License

Skills in clinical examination and diagnostic reasoning

Effective patient communication abilities

Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Strong critical thinking and time management skills

Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration capabilities

Experience with health counseling

Spanish language proficiency
