Duties and Responsibilities

Support certification activities to ensure aircraft seating products comply with FAA and/or EASA regulations.

Prepare and review certification plans, compliance documents, test procedures, qualification reports, and engineering reports.

Support FAA-PMA, FAA-STC, and FAA-TSOA certification programs and related documentation.

Coordinate with Design Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, suppliers, and regulatory representatives during product development and certification activities.

Conduct or support qualification and compliance testing, including static, dynamic, flammability, and functional tests.

Review engineering drawings and design changes to ensure continued regulatory compliance.

Provide technical support and guidance on certification requirements and compliance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.

Experience in aerospace certification, aircraft seating/interiors, design, testing, or compliance engineering preferred.

Knowledge of FAA and/or EASA certification requirements, including FAA-PMA, FAA-STC, and FAA-TSOA processes.

Familiarity with qualification and compliance testing requirements is an advantage.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD or PLM system knowledge is a plus
