About the Role

Clever Bee Academy is seeking a compassionate, dependable Behavior Technician Lead Teacher to support children enrolled in our Inclusion Program. In this role, you'll help implement individualized behavior and learning plans in partnership with the Director of Inclusion and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting neurodivergent children through consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement in an inclusive classroom environment.

What You'll Do

Implement one-on-one or small group behavioral and instructional strategies based on individualized plans developed by the Director of Inclusion and/or BCBA

Support children in building communication, social, and adaptive daily living skills

Observe, document, and accurately report behavioral data and progress notes

Provide emotional and behavioral support to help children engage meaningfully in classroom routines and activities

Assist with classroom management, transitions, and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment

Collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to ensure consistent strategies across home and school settings

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development related to inclusion and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Maintain confidentiality and uphold Clever Bee Academy's ethical and professional standards at all times Required Qualifications

Completed Behavioral Technician 40 hour course

Associate degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred

At least 1 year of teaching experience working with children, preferably in early childhood, inclusion, or special education settings

Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles preferred (training provided for new hires)

Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work reliably as part of a team

Empathetic, patient, and consistent approach when supporting children in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to inclusion and child development

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Experience working in inclusion or intervention-based classroom settings

Interest in pursuing RBT certification with employer-supported training Skills That Help You Succeed
