Client Compliance Analyst

A Client Compliance Analyst provides support for general procedures relating to the maintenance of client and matter finance data, the collection and filing of Firm Engagement Letters, and the confirmation of the completeness and accuracy of client and matter billing information for new business. Working with all members of the Client Operations and Finance Departments, the Client Compliance Analyst will provide critical support to the Client Compliance team in the ongoing data maintenance within the Finance Systems. The Client Compliance Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Client Operations: Compliance & Reporting.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing support to Client Compliance department in order to execute data updates on a timely basis
Modify client and matter data within the finance system, Aderant, upon request
Assist with the collection and review of client Engagement Letters to ensure accuracy of client and matter set up
Support the review of Outside Counsel Guidelines provided by clients and support the implementation of Billing Guidelines
Follow up with appropriate lawyer(s) and/or Firm personnel, as required, in order to efficiently perform duties, including obtaining data update approvals, missing Engagement Letters, Billing Guidelines, and Outside Counsel Guidelines
Perform client and matter maintenance throughout the matter lifecycle, including but not limited to updates to Bill Groups, Lawyer assignments, and client and matter credits, as needed
Perform all administrative tasks associated therewith
Support the proper administrative close out of matters and/or clients at the conclusion of representation
Maintain records in accordance with applicable laws and Firm policy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
One or more years of experience in a legal finance environment or similar role
Ability to initiate, follow through and complete time sensitive projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced global environment
Experience with client and matter finance information
Ability to use industry standard office software applications including Elite and/or Aderant, Intapp, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other resources as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with partners, associates and other Firm personnel throughout the Firm's international offices
Strong attention to detail and analytical and organizational skills
This position may require periodic physical presence in Proskauer's offices as business needs require. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
