About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead Speria's accounting operations during a critical period of growth and transition. This role owns accounting governance, internal controls, and close oversight while serving as the primary liaison with auditors and group finance.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with operational ownership.

What You'll Do

Own accounting governance, policies, and internal controls (FARC)

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with a focus on balance sheet integrity

Oversee cash flow management and working capital reporting

Own CapEx budgeting, governance, and actuals tracking

Serve as primary audit lead and liaison with external auditors and group finance

Provide final authority on accounting and technical accounting decisions

Oversee international accounting and tax considerations across multiple entities

Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team

Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, FinOps, Payroll, and leadership

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership responsibility

Strong US GAAP and technical accounting background

Proven experience leading audits and working with external auditors

Experience in multi-entity or global environments

CPA Required

Nice to Have

Experience in PE-backed or SaaS organizations

Exposure to international tax and cross-border accounting

ERP implementation or optimization experience
