Experienced Mitigation Field Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our fast growing restoration team. This role involves responding to water, fire, mold, and storm losses, performing structural drying, documenting job progress, and delivering exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates have strong technical skills, field experience, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced water mitigation, structural drying, and moisture mapping.

Complete controlled demolition when needed for proper drying.

Operate and maintain dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA vacuums, and moisture meters.

Document work with photos, readings, and digital job notes.

Communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Maintain clean, organized vehicles, tools, and job sites.

Respond to after hours emergency calls as part of an on call rotation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

2+ years of mitigation or restoration experience.

Strong understanding of drying science and moisture detection.

Proficiency with mitigation equipment and tools.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.

IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, and AMRT) preferred.

Schedule & Work Environment:

Full-Time

On-call rotation required

Work includes evenings, weekends, and emergency response

Indoor & outdoor environments - sometimes in confined spaces

Compensation & Benefits:

Paid Time Off

Hourly Range ($22-$28/hr depending on experience)

On-Call Pay
