Litigation Associate - Miami

A distinguished multi-national law firm seeks a Litigation savvy Associate Attorney to join its Miami office.

Candidate will have the following: Minimum 2 years of experience as a litigation associate within a top-tier law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) is required ; Experience in areas to include complex commercial litigation, high-stakes product liability, class actions, and mass tort ; Ability to handle high-exposure such as breach of contract, civil RICO, and catastrophic loss.

Stellar academic credentials from a top law school (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired) ; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required ; Florida Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Representing a diverse clientele including Fortune 500 companies, private equity and other investment firms across a wide range of industries, including significant experience across financial services (banking, investment management and insurance), technology and real estate.

-Assisting both plaintiffs and defendants in every area of litigation.

-Defending clients' in areas to include complex commercial litigation, high-stakes product liability, and mass tort.

-Working independently and as part of a team.

-Managing simultaneous cases.

-Conducting legal research.

-Drafting pleadings and motions.

-Managing the discovery process.

-Preparing for trials.

-Facilitating settlements.
