Job Title: Technician (Field Construction)
Pay: $23–$28/hour (based on experience)
Location: Site-to-site work near Hampton, MN (travel required)
Schedule: ~50 hours/week (typically 5 10-hour days)Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Technician to support a wide range of outdoor construction and hardscape projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction or labor experience who enjoys working outdoors, being active, and gaining hands-on field experience across multiple job sites.Key Responsibilities
Assist with building:
Retaining walls, block walls, welded form walls
Reinforced soil slopes, boulder walls, and soil anchoring systems
Perform general construction labor:
Site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
Support excavation work and safely operate around heavy equipment
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Measure and layout materials using a tape measure for accuracy
Maintain and care for tools and equipment
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Travel between job sites near Hampton, MN and occasionally to nearby states (per diem and hotel provided)
Collaborate with team to complete projects safely and on scheduleRequired Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of construction, landscaping, or labor experience
Ability to:
Perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting daily
Use hand and power tools safely
Read and use a tape measure accurately
Basic knowledge of construction practices (concrete, block/brick work, site prep)
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability and willingness to travel between job sitesPreferred Experience
Retaining walls, hardscaping, or similar projects
Excavation and soil-related construction
Working around or operating heavy equipment (excavators, etc.)
Basic maintenance of tools and equipment

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
