Warehouse & Distribution Manager

Our client is seeking a strong Warehouse & Distribution Manager to oversee end to end inventory, warehousing, and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure high inventory accuracy.

Prevent stock losses, shrinkage, and product obsolescence.

Improve inventory turnover and implement strong stock control measures.

Oversee receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch operations.

Improve order processing speed, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.

Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow.

Implement continuous process improvements to reduce handling time and cost.

Ensure on time, in full (OTIF) distribution of finished goods.

Manage fleet and transport operations, including route planning and scheduling.

Control fuel usage, transport costs, and logistics expenses within approved budget.

Manage warehousing and distribution budgets, reducing cost per unit handled.

Control overtime, labour costs, wastage, and operational shrinkage.

Maintain a safe warehouse environment and enforce SHEQ standards.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

Reduce workplace accidents through proactive risk management.

Lead and supervise warehouse and transport teams.

Conduct training, coaching, and performance management.

Monitor productivity, enforce discipline, and drive a high performance culture.

Key Skills:

At least 3+ years experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution management.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Ability to meet operational targets and deadlines.

Highly disciplined with strong attention to detail.

Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field.
