As a Lead Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public while assisting with daily site operations and officer oversight. This role requires professionalism, leadership, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to on-site Security Officers during assigned shifts

Assist with shift coverage, scheduling support, and daily operational needs

Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols

Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity

Ensure officers are following post orders, client expectations, and DSI policies

Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public

Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely

Communicate operational concerns and incidents to management promptly

Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous security experience required

Prior lead, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or management experience preferred

Reliable transportation and means of communication

Basic to intermediate computer skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions

Must meet all preemployment requirements
