Position Overview
The Graphic Designer supports the development of creative work across MurphyEpson projects and client accounts. This role focuses on producing high-quality visual materials that align with project goals, brand standards and strategic messaging. The Graphic Designer works closely with project managers, writers and senior creative staff to bring ideas to life across digital and print formats.
Role and Responsibilities
Design and Creative Execution
Develop visual materials that support client communications, marketing and public engagement efforts. Translate messaging and existing brand standards into effective design solutions across a range of formats, including marketing collateral, print advertising, social media graphics and toolkits, presentations, exhibit graphics, environmental signage, web and other digital content. Develop original campaign and brand concepts and strategically extend those identities across a cohesive suite of multi-channel design deliverables.
Production and Project Support
Prepare design files for print and digital use, managing quality and consistency. Assist with layout, formatting and production tasks across multiple projects while meeting deadlines and project requirements. Communicate with print and digital vendors to ensure deadlines, budgets and specifications are met.
Client Partnership and Collaboration
Work closely with project managers, writers and Senior Art Directors to support project deliverables. Contribute creative ideas and participate in internal design reviews to ensure work aligns with project goals and client expectations.
Brand and Design Quality Standards
Follow established visual standards and brand guidelines across projects. Ensure design work is clear, professional and consistent with MurphyEpson’s design approach and client brand requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
3–5 years of professional graphic design experience
Experience producing materials for both print and digital platforms
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word) and project management tools (Harvest, Dropbox, Monday.com)
Salary Range
$70,000–$80,000
