Job Title: Technical Specialist 4 (TS4)/ Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote (Day 1 Onsite in Columbus, OH)

Work Arrangement:

This position is primarily remote; however, the selected candidate must report onsite on the first day at: Columbus, Ohio 43215

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Position Overview:

The TS4 will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for technical decisions related to enterprise data analytics environments, data platforms, data integrations, and architecture solutions. This role will collaborate closely with IT Architecture teams, Agency leadership, DBAs, Data Engineers, and BI professionals to design scalable and enterprise-aligned data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise analytics and operational systems

Establish data modeling standards, naming conventions, and architecture best practices

Contribute to the Agency’s enterprise data architecture roadmap and modernization initiatives

Design scalable and reusable data integration and storage solutions aligned with enterprise standards

Lead technical discussions around data architecture, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance

Collaborate with enterprise teams to configure integrations with data lakes, data quality, and curation platforms

Provide architectural guidance to ensure interoperability, governance, and reusability of enterprise data solutions

Support data integration, data cleansing, data classification, and data modeling initiatives

Work closely with cross-functional technical teams including Database Administrators, Data Engineers, and BI teams

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience with Salesforce platforms

5+ years of experience with Microsoft environments including Azure and Dynamics

Hands-on Salesforce development experience including:

Apex

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Salesforce Flow

Validation Rules

5+ years of experience with Snowflake data platform

5+ years of experience with Tableau analytics integration

Strong experience with:

Data Integration

Data Cleansing

Data Classification

Data Modeling

Experience with technologies/platforms such as:

StreamSets

AWS S3

Microsoft SQL Server

Enterprise Data Lakes
