Security Officer

Job Description Security Officer - Access Control Join our team as a Security Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the security of a construction site.

As part of our team, you’ll perform access control, routine foot patrols, ensure protection of our client’s assets, and maintain a secure environment while upholding the standards of Cardinal Point Security Group.

Pay: $18.00 per hour Location: Lancaster, PA Schedule: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Duties & Responsibilities:Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be punctual and professional, maintain a sharp appearance in proper uniform, stay engaged and provide consistent, reliable service.Access Control: Scan arriving employees each day, man/monitor entrances and exitsFoot Patrol: Perform thorough foot patrols as required by the assignment.Route Schedule: Follow a set patrol route and adhere to the scheduleRespond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and activities.Collaborate with on-site management and emergency services as needed Basic Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of security experience; prior experience in a related field is preferred.High School Diploma or GED Background Requirements:Completion of a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screen Skills:Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.

Physical Requirements:Capability to stand post for the entire shiftAbility to perform physical tasks such as walking and standing during patrols.
