Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner, working remotely on a full-time or part-time basis! Duties
• Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations using telehealth technology.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and more.
• Prescribe medications and therapies following state regulations and clinical guidelines, including injections like botulinum toxin treatments or dermal fillers when applicable.
• Collaborate with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, cardiology, infectious disease care, and esthetic laser treatments to coordinate patient care plans.
• Manage documentation meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and accurate medical records.
• Provide patient education on medication administration, lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and disease prevention to promote long-term health.
Requirements
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state(s) with current certification.
• Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
• Strong clinical skills across diverse areas including acute care, primary care, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, or hospital medicine.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering remote patient consultations effectively.
• Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing processes.
• Ability to perform physical examinations virtually and interpret diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory results or medical imaging reports.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to patient engagement and education. Expertise in pain management or hospice & palliative medicine.
