Position Overview
Bartenders at Stoked Pizza will greet and serve guests with superior product knowledge and create a warm and accommodating atmosphere while maintaining proper preparation and efficient execution of all beverage products. As a member of a team you will be expected to help out in other areas of the restaurant if your current responsibilities are fulfilled.
Essential Functions, Skills and Knowledge
Promptly greets guests and takes orders; processes cash and credit card transactions
Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Maintain integrity of beverage menu through constant quality control
Stay active and knowledgeable about industry/beverage trends and seasonal ingredients
Nurture an atmosphere conducive to creating repeat customers and regular clientele
Promote the Stoked Pizza brand
Provide consistent, accurate & timely execution of beverage orders
Accurate settling / transferring of bar tabs
Proper cleaning, organizing, set up of glassware/ garnish /barware
Maintaining proper mixer par-levels (juicing/prep-work)
Manages the phone calls/ take-out orders
Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests needs
Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, e
Maintain the experience for the guests including though not limited to music selection & volume, specific accommodations requested
Ensure cash handling policies and procedures such as proper cash out paperwork & nightly deposits
Adheres to cash handling policies
Perform all required sidework, including but not limited to following all opening and closing procedures
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Work Environment
This position operates in a bar and restaurant environment where alcohol is served. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, odors, and/or loud noises.
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with help and/or assistance.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a bar/hospitality position, and as such will require both weekday and weekend/evening hours, as scheduled by management based on the needs of the operation and business.
Travel
This job requires no significant travel to locations other than Stoked Pizza premises and local shops.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
Minimum of (3) years of experience in high volume craft bars/restaurants strongly preferred.
Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
Must have a passion for creating memorable hospitality experiences
Knowledge and passion for wine & beer. Understanding and passion for craft cocktails & spirits
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Possess knowledge of food preparation techniques, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
Must be familiar with common and classic drink recipes, and desire to learn new recipes
Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to move around during entire shift
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests
Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
