About the Role

Join the Business Development team supporting ASH IGNITE, a professional community platform designed to connect researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals in hematology. This internship focuses on user growth, engagement, and digital community development. You will gain hands-on experience in outreach strategy, stakeholder engagement, data tracking, and online community building within a national medical association.

What You'll Do

Research and identify potential platform users across healthcare, research, and industry

Conduct personalized outreach using templates and track engagement outcomes

Support onboarding of new members and encourage active participation

Help facilitate connections within the professional community

Assist in creating and publishing weekly digital content (posts, discussions, spotlights)

Support virtual events and engagement initiatives

Maintain and analyze outreach and engagement data

Summarize trends and contribute insights to improve strategy

What We're Looking For

Undergraduate or graduate student

Preferred majors: Business, Public Health, Communications, Marketing, Life/Health Sciences

Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills

Customer service experience required (any setting)

Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or digital community building

Skills

Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Google Sheets / Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)

Familiarity with LinkedIn for research and outreach

CRM or community platform experience a plus (Hivebrite strongly preferred)
