Become an Employee-Owner at PERRY proTECH! A Technical Specialist is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by assisting the sales team in developing and presenting required IT solutions.
About the Role:
Conduct in-depth technical discussions with clients, focusing on business goals and outcomes
Investigate client networks and complete network assessments which will support solution proposals and develop strategic direction
Collaborate with technical resources to design and build proper hardware and infrastructure solutions
Support sales during quoting and proposal/closing process as the primary technical resource
Understand clients' needs especially with compliance and regulations
Partner with sales to identify, qualify and develop new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
Support account growth by identifying gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities in client environments
Prepare and present KPI and SLA performance reviews with clients and internal staff, creating action plans where appropriate
Support sales through Quarterly Business Review process by serving as the resource for all technical-related topics
Requirements & Qualifications:
Interpersonal and client relation skills
Ability to think strategically and critically
Keen attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Prioritize customer service and client satisfaction
5+ years in Information Technology field
Associate degree or equivalent with a demonstrated successful work history
Experience with Microsoft ecosystem including Servers, Entra ID, Exchange, Teams and Azure
Understanding of a SaaS model and hosting solutions
Understanding of basic network technologies including wireless technologies
Network infrastructure (router/switch/firewalls) knowledge
Microsoft server/AD experience and certifications is a plus
Experience supporting pre-sales or client-facing solution discussions
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
Experience supporting opportunities through the sales cycle by addressing technical objections.
