Role Overview: FMX is seeking a high-energy, Phone-Based Market Research Intern to support our go-to-market team through structured market research.
This is not a passive internship.
You will spend the majority of your day on the phone (80%+), speaking directly with facilities, operations, and finance professionals to gather real-world insights into: * CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) * Utilities and energy management tools * Capital planning and asset lifecycle systems * Adjacent operational software categories * Identifying the buyers for these solutions This internship sits at the intersection of sales, product, and strategy.

Responsibilities: As the Phone-Based Market Research Intern, you will: * Conduct 80-120 outbound calls per day to prospective and current FMX accounts * Execute structured surveys with operations and facilities leaders * Capture detailed, accurate data in Google Sheets in real time * Identify current systems, satisfaction levels, gaps, and buying timelines * Maintain disciplined call notes and data hygiene Secondary Responsibilities: * Support sales and marketing with ad hoc research * Identify trends and summarize findings * Assist with list building and segmentation * Participate in call reviews and coaching sessions
