Epitec is seeking to hire an Administrative Support - Human Resources professional to support a largest global U.S. automaker at a major manufacturing facility in Dearborn, MI. This role is fully onsite and plays a critical role in attendance tracking, reporting, and disciplinary administration within a unionized manufacturing environment.

Shift Information:
This role supports a rotating 3?crew schedule and requires flexibility across days, nights, and weekends.
Crew Schedules
A Crew
Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
SPOC start time: 5:00 AM (prep before shift)
B Crew
Tuesday - Friday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
SPOC start time: 5:00 PM (prep before shift)
C Crew
Friday & Saturday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Sunday & Monday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
SPOC start time: 1 hour prior to shift
Training & Rotation
Initial training occurs on day shift for approximately 3-4 weeks
After training, assignment moves to B Crew
Shift rotation occurs once per quarter Compensation & Benefits

Develop a strong working knowledge of attendance and discipline contract language
Investigate employee attendance across multiple HR and timekeeping systems
Generate daily attendance and tardiness reports
Lead or support daily attendance meetings with employees and union representation
Prepare and administer corrective discipline documentation
Correct and maintain accurate attendance coding (personal days, bereavement, jury duty, FMLA, medical leave, etc.)
Partner with line management to close attendance and tardiness issues
Audit and validate attendance and tardiness records
Serve as subject matter expert on attendance policy interpretation
Maintain all FMLA documentation and tracking
Act as liaison between management, medical, payroll, and labor relations
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline attendance processes
Build strong working relationships with leadership, union reps, and HR partners
Support payroll specialist activities as needed Required Qualifications
Knowledge of HR policies and HR support processes
2+ years experience using Microsoft Office tools
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Human Resources or related field)
Experience supporting unionized manufacturing environments
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict?resolution skills
Proven ability to multitask in a fast?paced, high?volume setting
Self?starter with strong follow?through and accountability Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
