Mids starting at Noon (open to 8, 9, or 10hr shifts)

open to 12hr day/night shifts

(8a–8p or 8p–8a); Mon-Sun coverage

• Patient Demographics: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

• Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per day

• Phone Consults: Telemedicine support available

• Admissions: Inpatient support available

• Physician in Practice: 24hr MD support on site or within 5 minutes

• Support Staff: Additional PA on mids shift

• Specialty Backup: FM, ED Physician, Cardiology Telehealth, Stroke Telehealth, Vel Telemedicine

• Case Mix: Critical Access ED / Trauma cases / General Emergency Medicine

• Procedures: Emergency ultrasound required

• Office Equipment: Helipad, ambulance transfer capability

• Beds in the Dept: 57 hospital beds

• No. of Exam rooms: 7 ED rooms with 2 trauma bays

• Trauma Level: IV

• EMR: Medhost, EDIS, Athena

• Other Info: Will train on EMR systems; 2 FTE coverage needed monthly; 6 babies delivered in last 6 months

• Hospital Privileges available: Yes

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active MN License

• Board Certified PA

• DEA Required

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS or CALS

• Certifications Preferred: PALS, APLS

• Minimum 3 years Emergency Medicine experience required
