Job Description
$14.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
Check food temperatures with thermometers to ensure that food has reached safe levels of heat for consumption
Stock ingredients needed for food items by washing, cutting, dicing, or slicing them as needed
Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
Guarantee that quality food is supplied by following specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used
Cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
Follow all food safety and storage regulations to ensure customer safety
Deliver food to the pickup location outside the kitchen
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations
ServSafe certification preferred
TN Server permit preferred
