Job Description
The Ford Agency is partnering with a prestigious DC law firm in their search for a professional and engaging Reception and Conference Center Administrative Assistant to support front office operations and provide administrative support to the team. Our client is seeking a poised individual who will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and manage administrative logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests, fostering a warm and professional atmosphere
Provide back-up phone support to other national offices
Assist with scheduling for meetings and conference spaces
Provide administrative support for the weekly conference center schedule
Assist with proofreading and preparing meeting materials, client letters, and other documents
Maintain the appearance of conference rooms, pantries, and lobby areas
Handle courier requests, mail distribution, and shipping/receiving
Coordinate with building management and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide back-up phone coverage and assist with office tours and special projects
Qualifications Include:
1+ years of reception and administrative experience; professional services environment preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with proofreading and taking on projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service oriented
Discretion, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information
Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 annually
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
