Keowee Marina is a family-owned, full-service resort marina on Lake Keowee. We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Crew Member to help keep our property, docks, rental areas, buildings, grounds, and guest spaces clean, safe, functional, and ready for business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in fixing problems, staying ahead of issues, and keeping a busy marina looking sharp.
If you are the type of person who notices what needs to be done before being told, this may be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Crew Member, you will assist with the daily upkeep and repair of the marina facility, including:
General property maintenance and repairs
Dock, walkway, ramp, and marina grounds upkeep
Trash removal, cleaning, pressure washing, and general appearance standards
Light carpentry, painting, hardware replacement, and minor repairs
Assisting with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment-related issues when appropriate
Helping maintain rental cottages, houseboats, restrooms, parking areas, storage areas, and customer-facing spaces
Supporting special projects, seasonal prep, storm cleanup, and event readiness
Reporting safety concerns, damage, maintenance needs, or guest-impacting issues to management
Working with other departments to keep operations moving smoothly
What We’re Looking For
The right person does not need to know everything, but they must be willing to work, learn, and take responsibility.
Ideal candidates will have:
Basic maintenance, repair, construction, landscaping, or facility experience
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools safely
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and follow-through
Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions
A team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Willingness to jump in where needed without the “that’s not my job” mindset
Physical Requirements
This position is active and hands-on. Candidates must be able to:
Lift, carry, push, or pull items as needed
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around docks and uneven surfaces
Work outdoors in heat, sun, rain, and changing conditions
Safely operate basic tools and equipment
Why Join Keowee Marina?
At Keowee Marina, maintenance is not just “fixing things.” It is protecting the guest experience, supporting every department, and helping maintain the reputation of one of the busiest full-service marina facilities on Lake Keowee.
A clean, safe, well-maintained facility sells confidence before a customer ever talks to a staff member. This role matters.
Apply
Qualified candidates should apply with work history and any relevant maintenance, repair, construction, landscaping, or facility experience. We are looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and ready to help keep Keowee Marina operating at a high level.
