Production Worker

Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of pressure-treated wood products and is seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will perform a variety of manual tasks to support the production and maintenance operations of our facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.

Operate hand tools and basic power tools as needed.

Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.

Assist in various production processes, such as sorting, stacking, and packaging products.

Support maintenance activities, including cleaning equipment and assisting with repairs.

Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in general labor, construction, or a related field is a plus.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Strong work ethic and reliability.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
