The Asphalt Worker will play a crucial role in preparing and laying asphalt for driveways and parking lots as part of a small team. This position involves operating specialized equipment and using hand tools to ensure smooth, durable surfaces. The ideal candidate works efficiently during day shifts and maintains a safe worksite environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for asphalt laying on driveways and parking lots

Lay and compact asphalt material efficiently

Operate compacting equipment and rollers

Use hand tools such as lutes and shovels to smooth and finish surfaces

Maintain clean and safe worksite conditions

Collaborate closely with a small crew of 2-5 members

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in asphalt work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with asphalt paving

Proficiency with asphalt lute, shovel, or roller operation
