Application Support Engineer (SRE/Production Support)

Hi, Job Title: Application Support Engineer (SRE/Production Support) Location: Columbus, Ohio (4 Days Onsite) Contract to Hire Job Summary: We are looking for an application-level SRE (not Infrastructure or DevOps-focused) to support production applications.

The role requires strong communication skills, hands-on experience with monitoring tools, and the ability to manage and resolve production incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:Monitor applications using tools like Dynatrace and SplunkIdentify issues, analyse alerts, and gather insights from monitoring toolsHandle production incidents and troubleshoot live issuesParticipate in real-time debugging calls and support incident resolutionAssess impact and escalate issues to the right teams when neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams during critical incidentsEnsure timely resolution and system stability Required Skills:Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar monitoring/observability toolsStrong understanding of production support and incident managementBasic knowledge of web-based applicationsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork skills
