Job Description
The Production Associate supports multiple stages of the automotive manufacturing process, including assembly, material handling, machine operation, and quality inspection. This role helps maintain a steady production flow, achieve daily output targets, and uphold strict product quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on production tasks such as assembling automotive components, operating machinery, and packaging finished goods.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including staging materials and preparing orders for delivery.
Handle raw materials and finished products using carts or other material handling equipment.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels at assigned workstations to support continuous production.
Conduct visual inspections of parts to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use basic measurement tools, such as rulers, to verify dimensions and product specifications.
Operate production machines, grinders, and polishing tools safely and efficiently as needed.
Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and general production tasks.
Participate in daily safety meetings and follow lean manufacturing practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support production goals.
Rotate between departments and tasks based on production needs while maintaining performance and quality.Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
Prior experience in manufacturing, general production, or general labor.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and stand for extended periods.
Basic math and measurement skills, including the ability to read a ruler.
Experience with machine operation and machine operating in a production environment.
Ability to use hand tools and hand and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automotive production environments is beneficial.
Background in assembly, polishing, grinding, or similar production tasks.
Comfort working with material handling equipment such as carts.
Willingness to rotate between departments and adapt to changing production priorities.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced automotive production facility with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery. The environment is non-climate controlled, but conditions remain relatively stable and do not become excessively hot or cold depending on the weather. Team members may rotate between departments according to production needs. Available schedules include 1st shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 3rd shift from 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Appropriate work attire suitable for a manufacturing setting is required, with an emphasis on safety and practicality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, OH.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
