Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC-controlled machining centers to produce precision components used in automotive manufacturing. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and grinders to manufacture automotive parts.

Load raw materials and configure machine settings based on job specifications.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.

Perform tooling and insert changes, offset adjustments, and program loading.

Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality.

Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.

Document production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to troubleshoot issues.Essential Skills

High school diploma or GED required; AS in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum 1–3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming interfaces.

Ability to read both Metric and English measurement systems.

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.

Knowledge of automation and welding is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Fast-paced automotive production facility with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery. Use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes is required. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. The environment is non-climate controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, OH.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
