Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, starting August 11, 2026 and continuing through July 11, 2027. You'll be based near vibrant Red Bluff, CA, working with a cohort of dedicated professionals focused on Mild/Moderate needs. This is a chance to positively impact the lives of children and adolescents, utilizing your specialized skills in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid CTC Mild/Moderate Certification (or equivalent) is required

Previous experience teaching or supporting K-12 students with mild to moderate exceptionalities

Strong IEP development, documentation, and implementation skills

Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with families, staff, and related service providers

Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver special education services to a K-12 caseload, adapting strategies to individual student needs

Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support teams

Provide direct instruction and learning interventions

Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all regulatory requirements

Engage with families to ensure shared goals and ongoing communication
