Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, and implementation. Extensive experience with residential, commercial, and/or Church construction is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation and construction

Allocate material and equipment resources for assigned projects

Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

Work seamlessly with the company's Project Managers and company executives

Interface with local, state, and federal project inspectors, other contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients

Negotiate and manage contractors to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications, and track and document all changes

Maintain daily job logs for all work done on-site

Qualifications:

A degree in building construction management, Architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred

Previous experience as a Lead Superintendent (residential experience will be considered)

A minimum of 5 years as a Lead Superintendent is preferred

Previous experience in construction management or other related fields

Familiarity with new ground-up construction projects is preferred

Familiarity with extensive renovation projects is preferred

Familiarity with construction management software

Strong leadership qualities

Strong negotiation skills

Deadline and detail-oriented
