Operations Manager (Campground Guest Experience)

Job Description

At The Higgins Lake Campground, great guest experiences don’t happen by accident, they’re led.

We’re hiring an Operations Manager to oversee daily campground operations while leading a team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day flow of the campground, supporting your team, engaging with guests, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across the property.

What You’ll Do

Oversee Daily Operations

Manage the day-to-day flow across guest services, store, food service, activities, and grounds

Ensure all areas are running efficiently and aligned with standards

Step in where needed to support during busy times

Lead & Develop the Team

Supervise and support Guest Experience Team Members (our Memory Makers)

Provide real-time coaching, direction, and feedback

Help train and develop team members across multiple areas

Drive the Guest Experience

Ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, consistent, and high quality

Handle guest concerns and service recovery when needed

Look for opportunities to improve the overall experience

Be Present on the Grounds

Stay visible and engaged throughout the campground

Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall atmosphere

Support both guests and team members in real time

Schedule

Thursday through Monday required

Weekends and holidays required

Full-time seasonal role (May-October 15th)

• $1,500/biweekly BOE Base Salary
