Job Description: The Surgical PA/NP may provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventive care, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. The surgical PA/NP will assist the physician in the global management of patient care in the per-operative setting, their primary role is to assist licensed physicians in the patient surgery, performing first assist duties. Benefits package offered to full time and part time employees. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current and Valid CA RN/Nurse Practitioner License and/or CA Physician Assistant License. Possession of a current certificate of completion from an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Program, preferred. Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Bachelor’s degree in registered nursing (BSN), preferred. 1-year experience advance practice. 3-years acute care clinical practice. 2-years of surgical PA/NP experience preferred. Valid and current CA Nurse Practitioner license. CA Furnishing License. DEA License. Current CPR card. ACLS. Bilingual preferred.
