Job Description Job Title: CNC Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftJob Location: Milford, NHSchedule: 2nd shift Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PMPay Rate: $25 - $35/HRPosition Summary:Adecco is seeking an entry-level CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.
This position is responsible for producing precision machined parts by operating CNC machines while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Load raw materials into CNC machines and unload completed parts Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously Inspect own work as well as co-workers’ parts to ensure quality standards are met Follow instructions for selecting proper tooling and fixtures Utilize measuring equipment including snap gauges, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision instruments Adjust tooling and work offsets as needed Perform minor edits to existing CNC programs Operate select machines within the department Make machine adjustments to maintain required dimensions, tolerances, and quality specifications Utilize QMS, MAX, and SPC databases as required Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including topping off lubricants Clean machines and work areas, including chip removal Follow all established procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work under general supervision and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required 1+ years of machining experience preferred, or a recent certificate in precision machining or a related field Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, and basic math Familiarity with machining practices and precision measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Physical Requirements:Regularly required to stand and use hands for handling, gripping, and reaching Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, carry, and push/pull materials Frequent repetitive wrist and hand movements Ability to lift, push, pull, or move materials up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Good hearing and vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision Ability to maintain focus and coordination in a manufacturing environment Additional Information:This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their machining career in a supportive manufacturing environment.
