Job Title: Engineer
Job Description
In this role, the Engineer will develop specifications, testing, inspections, and documentation for electronic components and their replacement parts for nuclear power plant applications. The Engineer will interface with Sourcing and Quality personnel, as well as suppliers and product departments.
Responsibilities
Support the team in resolving technical issues related to current projects, equipment under test, or in-service platforms.
Ensure timely delivery of detailed design and technical support for manufacturing and tests.
Provide power electronic solutions for products and projects.
Demonstrate knowledge in analog and digital electronics design by managing requirements, designing, verifying, and testing power distribution and controls products.
Utilize product development lifecycle knowledge to provide technical support to the team and the wider business.
Assess problems thoroughly and drive logical conclusions with excellent technical problem-solving skills.
Develop manual or automated production test procedures to ensure product reliability and functionality.
Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities. Essential Skills
Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand, with a strong emphasis on LabVIEW.
Proficiency in analog and digital electronics.
Experience with test equipment and test engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from an accredited university/college or equivalent qualification and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics in an engineering position.
Self-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
Eagerness to learn and expand skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills.
Demonstrated technical leadership in integration activities.
Experience in the nuclear industry.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed. Work Environment
The work environment involves collaboration with sourcing and quality personnel and suppliers. Engineers will use various test equipment and software, including LabVIEW and TestStand, to ensure that products meet reliability and functionality standards. The position may require travel depending on project needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
