About the Role

The Manager, Business Operations supports the day-to-day operations of Ptarmigan Media, helping ensure teams are aligned, processes are clear, and work is delivered efficiently across the account.

This role partners closely with Planning, Investment, Digital Analytics, Finance, and Account Leadership to implement ways of working, maintain operational processes, and support coordination across teams. You will play a key role in bringing structure to how work flows across the organization while helping teams stay organized, on track, and connected.

Key Responsibilities

Team Operation & Ways of Working • Support the implementation of ways of working across Planning, Activation, and Digital Analytics teams • Build and maintain RACI frameworks to clarify roles and responsibilities • Help teams understand when and how to engage cross-functional partners • Identify workflow challenges and suggest improvements to increase efficiency

Cross-Team Coordination • Partner with Planning and Investment teams to support smooth campaign execution • Help coordinate across Planning, Investment, Digital Analytics, and Finance teams • Support key initiatives by ensuring the right stakeholders are aligned and informed • Track ownership and progress across workstreams to maintain accountability

Operational Process & Governance • Support QA and trafficking processes to ensure consistency across channels • Help maintain standardized workflows and documentation • Track timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure visibility across teams

Deliverables & Quality Oversight • Help ensure reporting and deliverables are accurate and delivered on time • Maintain documentation for processes and operational standards • Assist in monitoring campaigns post-launch to ensure accuracy

Financial & Operations Support • Support budget tracking across campaigns and workstreams • Monitor staffing utilization and flag potential risks • Assist in identifying and escalating financial or operational concerns

Skills Required for This Position:

4–6+ years of experience in media, agency operations, or cross-functional coordination roles • Strong understanding of how Planning and Investment teams work together • Experience working within a matrixed agency environment • Strong organizational and project management skills • Proficiency in Excel and workflow/process tracking tools • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$80,000 - $95,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
