POSITION: Continuous Improvement Manager

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full time

LOCATION: Dublin, OH OR Bothell, WA

GENERAL SUMMARY

As Continuous Improvement Manger you will be responsible for championing and developing a sustainable culture of continuous process improvement in all areas of the business. You will identify, manage, support, and facilitate continuous process improvement activities designed to drive revenue, reduce costs, and deliver operational excellence, and best practice in safety, quality, training, and productivity. The end-purpose of this position is to improve the real result of key performance indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3 years working in a continuous improvement role

Bachelor's degree

Strong data analytics skills, with advanced competency in Excel. SQL, PowerBI, Tableau not required

Ability to create business cases, cost justifying initiatives as well as evangelize and support change

Ability to present to executive leadership

Strong background in process improvement skills, with demonstrated knowledge in process design and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Education

Lean Six Sigma certifications

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role

Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.

Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Physical Demands

Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.

Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.

Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard.

Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.

Working Conditions

Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work warehouse work requiring moving and lifting.

Travel up to 75%

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:

Responsible to manage multiple areas with multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders; every day

Oversee and coordinate multiple department projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria to ensure alignment with the stablish goals

Implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement in process and service

Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures

Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training, and workshops to drive cultural change.

Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations, and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent.

Conduct root cause analyses to determine metrics, troubleshoot issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation.

Identifies and implements cost reductions in pursuit of Continuous Improvement Program

Develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility.

Guide the direction for the business, as an internal expert and consultant in continuous improvement best practices

Carry out data collection and analysis for process mapping.

Drive value stream mapping to define current state and transition to future state.

Support employees at all levels by mentoring and training methodologies.

Participate in continuous improvement activities that drive the KPI's

Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence. Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.

Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.

Provides customer focused interactions.

Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per hour
