Position: Senior LabVIEW Test Engineer (please do not send web-based Selenium candidates, we do not need finance or retail or airline candidates)

Location: San Diego, CA - 3 days onsite per week (must be in San Diego, CA day 1) - nonlocal is fine but they must relocate

Duration: 18 months

Job Description/requirements

Bachelors in Computer Engineering/Science or electrical Engineering - Master's Degree is highly preferred.

6+ years software quality experience

The role entails designing and developing LabVIEW test software for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier testing, along with creating software applications necessary for proof of concept, feasibility validation, and prototype evaluation.

Staying updated on emerging software technologies is crucial for proposing enhancements to the test tool software suite, encompassing LabVIEW applications, MATLAB scripts, and Test Stand sequences.

Providing technical leadership in test software development involves active participation in productive technical discussions across teams, while also addressing quality issues in test software to ensure sustainable solutions for software test tools.

Bachelor's degree or higher, proficiency in LabVIEW programming, experience in developing applications interfacing with NI hardware, and competence in developing applications handling various communication interfaces.
