Distribution Associate (Temporary): Dixon, Illinois

Our customer in Dixon, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Distribution Associate to work temporarily on 1st shift. In this role, you will support distribution operations by processing customer returns, inspecting products, and ensuring inventory is handled accurately and safely.

Responsibilities of the Distribution Associate:

Open boxes of returned goods and unpack products.

Inspect returned items for damage, dirt, missing parts, or signs of use.

Scan acceptable products back into inventory accurately.

Complete required paperwork to issue customer credits.

Move approved products to proper storage locations.

Move unusable or unacceptable products to the compactor.

Follow all safety procedures and work instructions at all times.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and orderly.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Distribution Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

Forklift experience required.

Ability to read and process inbound customer returns.

Ability to accurately match product numbers to customer packing lists.

Ability to read rack locations for accurate product put-away.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work overtime and on short notice as required.

Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Pay for Distribution Associate: $17/hour.

Type: Temporary (approximately 2 months), 1st Shift.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:00pm. High potential for overtime, including extended 10-hour days (5:00am – 3:00pm) and some Saturdays.
