Position Purpose
The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and semantic models that support business decision-making. This role operates with a high degree of independence, owning end-to-end technical delivery of accurate and well-designed analytics solutions. The BI Developer works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and reporting solutions.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain semantic models, reports, and dashboards aligned with business requirements and data architecture.
Build analytical models, reports and dashboards to present KPIs and business insights, ensuring usability and alignment with stakeholder needs.
Utilize Git-integrated workflows within Microsoft Fabric that version control, CI/CD, and automated testing processes.
Optimize report performance through advanced DAX, efficient data modeling, and best practices in report design.
Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards across platforms in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
Partner with analysts, developers, and business users to deliver reporting solutions. Contribute to and help enforce BI standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
Maintain clear documentation for reports, dashboards, and measure definitions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

This is a Contract position based out of Powell, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
