Construction Project Manager - Distribution Facilities (Lexington, KY or Atlanta, GA)
Gray is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with expertise in construction of Distribution or Industrial facilities. The role is fully remote but may require travel to project sites in Lexington, Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities
Supports coordination of interrelating activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, and customers, design, and engineering efforts.
Responsible for organizational, leadership, communication, management, and problem solving skills on the project(s).
Monitors and reports on the financial status of the project(s) and is responsible for subcontract and contract administration.
Heavy involvement in the development of job progress schedule to ensure that actual construction parallels with the schedule.
Purchases and monitors the delivery of all needed materials for scope of responsibility on the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Negotiates contracts with trade partners and vendors for trade scope of responsibility, eliminating scope gap and limiting project risk.
Reviews and approves trade partner and vendor payment requests.
Evaluates change order requests from trade partners in a timely fashion.
Works with design and engineering teams to ensure project(s) is/are designed, procured, and constructed within operating guidelines, while conforming to technical requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepares and presents various reports – monthly red files, progress analysis/schedules, billings, status reports, etc. – to successfully manage the project(s).
Organizes and maintains job files to ensure continuity of workflow.
Reviews shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with scope of work for the scope of responsibility.
May be responsible for estimating efforts relative to the project(s) and proposal preparation efforts.
Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of Gray’s safety and quality programs on site.
Supports and engages with overall team leadership and collaboration of multiple teams on the project.
Qualifications
Minimum six years of construction management experience; technical knowledge supporting projects in a Project Manager I role or equivalent, or having successfully completed at least two such projects.
Preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture).
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile devices, and innovative programs/software provided by Gray.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands and arms, reaching, and talking or hearing. Regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs. Vision near and distant accuracy required. Work in a normal office environment with moderate noise; occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather, high places, fumes, extreme cold/heat, electrical shock, explosives, vibrations. Overtime required. Travel required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Will supervise project support team members and subcontractors.
