Attorney (Full-Time)

In-Office Position
Salary: $75,000 – $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
McCabe, Trotter & Beverly is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Attorneys to join our growing team in our Columbia office. We are a well-established, small-to-medium-sized law firm with a high-volume and dynamic practice focused primarily on representing community associations.
We are currently hiring both litigators and non-litigators across multiple levels, including Staff Attorney, Associate Attorney, Of Counsel, and Entrepreneur Attorney.
Position Overview
Our attorneys handle a broad range of community association matters, including:
· Providing general legal counsel to community associations
· Litigation and dispute resolution
· Collections, liens, and foreclosures
· Drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, and real property instruments
· Conducting legal research using statutes, case law, and other authorities
· Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials (for litigators)
· Collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
· Maintaining strict client confidentiality and secure data handling
· Tracking and reporting billable time
· Remaining current with changes in applicable law
This position requires a strong commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in work product are essential.
Qualifications
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
· Active license to practice law in South Carolina (required)
· 403 certification (required for litigators)
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
· Ability to manage deadlines and perform under pressure
· Willingness to work under the supervision and mentorship of senior attorneys
· Demonstrated strong work ethic and professional accountability
