Software Engineer

The Customer Data Technology group within CLIENT’s Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Software Engineer to build the next generation Customer Data Platform in the cloud. Our team provides data capabilities to personalize incredible customer experiences and develop solutions that drive a lifetime of engagement. You’ll be building REST APIs and the underlying data solutions.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

5+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience

3-4 years of experience in building REST APIs

Understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with messaging technologies especially Kafka a big plus.

Experience with integrating APIs with backends like Oracle

Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery – Maven and Jenkins

Experience with containerizing applications using Docker

Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus

Any experience in developing data applications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus

Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channels

Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
