One of the fastest medical device companies in the industry is expanding their SFDC Development team! They have been a SFDC customer for many years, and as a result, leverages many of the features provided by SFDC. This role is a great opportunity to engage in project delivery across a broad range of elements such as Service cloud, Health cloud, Marketing cloud, IoT cloud, communities, Einstein analytics, etc. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Commercial functions through the implementation of new SFDC solutions, maintenance of existing functions and contributing to our enterprise integration program. The Senior SFDC Developer will focus on projects and processes related to call center support, marketing automation, data management, mobile applications and sales/field rep modules. The ideal candidate will have SFDC administrator and developer certification, along with several years of applied use of these skills. A background working with webservices and/or middleware software is a strong plus as well.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom solutions on force.com platform using Apex and Visual force by establishing best practices of application development, data integrity.

Develop and support new apps using lightning framework for internal and external users.

Support on-going production Global SFDC instances for business continuity

Maintain proper documentation for work flow processes, list of values, migration plans, and standard operating procedures in accordance with business requirements.

Develop and maintain validation rules, custom workflows and alerts.

Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solution choices, determining trade-offs and impact analysis

Support Insulet’s enterprise integration program. Work with integration leads on processes moving data between Salesforce and other third party solutions such as marketing automation or ERP.

Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues.

Resolve issues, design (or re-design) standard and custom objects.

Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements, projects and open production support tickets.

Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues and bugs.

Attend meetings with business teams to understand requirements and support business analysts.

Occasional off-hour support of production applications/processes should issues arise outside of business hours

Responsible for development and maintenance of reports/dashboards

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

4-6 years working as a SFDC developer, preferably in current position or has done so in a recent position. Certification in SFDC Platform Developer I is preferred.

Ideally, candidate will have working knowledge of custom salesforce development including apex, visualforce, basic administration, workflows, reporting and general design concepts.

Working knowledge of Lighting framework is plus.

Knowledge of any Object Oriented Programming language (java or.net) is required

General knowledge of the software development life cycle process

Proficient understanding of relational database concepts

Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, Javascript, and CSS is plus.

Knowledge of integrations with salesforce or other integration tools is a plus.

Working knowledge of SOAP and REST webservices is a plus

Working knowledge of XML or JSON is a plus

Knowledge or experience working with middleware platforms is a plus

BS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science, web development or equivalent experience.

Preferred experience supporting or working with a Commercial organization in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or any other regulatory controlled industry

Physical Requirements:

General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.

Domestic travel may be required less than 5% of the time.
