IOS Developer
Responsibilities:
Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on product strategy and adheres to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles. Partner with software engineers, UX/UI, quality engineers, product owners/analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity. Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies and contribute to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality. Be an active advocate of the iOS platform through both internal and external developer communities. Work to remain an active learner in all technologies related to iOS development (Swift, UIKit, Xcode, Cocoapods, 3rd party libraries, WWDC announcements, etc.). Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from broader team. Mentor junior members of the team. Actively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.). Identify opportunities to drive and contribute beyond team commitments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving direction, driving consensus and delivering small to medium sized/complexity components independently. Ability to detect and abstract common patterns in code. Proficient in 2-3 iOS SDK components (GCD, Networking, Services, APNS, etc.). Experience with Apple libraries (Apple Pay, Maps, etc.). Exploration of multiple form factors (iPhone, iPad, Watch). Proficiency with Xcode tooling. Demonstrated investment in iOS development knowledge growth through self-study, side projects and/or school/work experience. Experience with iOS 9.0 and higher. Experience with distributed version control (Git, Github). Familiarity with Agile delivery practices. Understanding of core iOS constructs (Controllers, Views, Storyboards, Notifications). Understanding of iOS testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest, etc.). Advanced Swift knowledge, both functional and object oriented (types, generics, protocols, etc.)
