Responsibilities:

Initially, your primary focus will be clearing the backlog of tasks. While this may not involve exciting new development work, it is a critical step in streamlining processes. Subsequently, you will lead the effort to consolidate three applications into one, with a particular emphasis on Debt Manager.

Top Skills:

•7+ years of Java development: The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Java development, demonstrating expertise in designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications.

•API development: Proficiency in API development is essential, as you will be responsible for creating and maintaining APIs to facilitate data exchange and integration.

•ColdFusion: Strong skills in ColdFusion are required, as two of the applications you will be working on are ColdFusion-based. Experience in developing and maintaining ColdFusion applications is crucial.

Leadership and Soft Skills:

This role requires strong leadership qualities and soft skills. You should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and capable of leading a team. Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are vital.

Nice to Have:

•Experience in tax or debt management would be advantageous.

•Familiarity with C&R or CGI products is a plus.

•Knowledge of Debt Manager, as the team is consolidating applications into this platform.

•Any experience in collections, recovery, or debt-related projects is beneficial.
