Full Stack Java Developer

DISYS is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer for a client in Reston VA with strong Java backend, Spring, Struts, JSP, JSF, and Angular. Highly prefer candidates with some.NET experience as well.

Candidate must have been in the US for at least 5 years and cannot be outside US more than a total of 6 months in the last five years.

Not considering West Coast candidates.

Java-Core Full Stack Java/Angular Developer

This is the PBS program, they support 5 applications, 4 Java and one.NET enhancing new code.

Should be able to read .NET code or change existing code, deploy.NET server, .NET, C#

3 applications; 4 or 5 application support enhancements

85% Java/Angular and 15%.NET

We are looking for a Software Engineer on a GSA program. The candidate will be expected to devise effective ideas that will deliver benefit to the customer, develop, and demonstrate these concepts coherently.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 8 years of experience or a Master’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in Java and.NET technologies

Manages and provides software development support using format specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

Designs, develops, tests, deploys and maintains software installations that meet user and business requirements

Make recommendations and implements technology upgrades and business-specific enhancements to existing systems resulting in improved system efficiencies and performance

OOA/OOD knowledge

Strong understanding of software development patterns and best practices

8+ year experience with J2EE frameworks and full life cycle N-tier software development from conceptual design to implementation including the following technologies:

JDBC

CSS

Struts

Spring

RichFaces

Experience with one or more industry standard Java IDEs - Eclipse, JDeveloper

Good experience with Web Service development

Hands-on experience with ASP.NET/C#,.NET framework 4.0+, Web forms, Visual Studio

Strong understanding of relational database architecture

Experience working in an Agile environment. Experience using Team Foundation server and/or JIRA is desirable

Experience in PL/SQL development a plus

Experience with CM process and version control tools

Problem-solving, goal-oriented, willing to learn, with good coding skill and engineering intuition

Positive attitude toward work and other people, team player

Must have good communication skills and comfortable interacting with multiple teams and customers

Candidate must successfully pass a government MBI background investigation. (Previous background investigation (NACI) or clearance is a plus)
