McGraw Hill is seeking a Product Designer to help us create next generation digital learning experiences for our K-12 Math program. We're looking for someone who can develop innovative solutions, brainstorm, and translate high-level visions into compelling print and digital experiences. What you will be doing:
Creating visually engaging, user friendly, print, and digital designs that align with product strategy and goals.
Developing the design rationale and explaining visual choices to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Delivering designs on time and within budget
Collaborating on the media asset (illustrations, photography, videos, animations) strategy based on research inputs and content strategy. Clearly articulate choices to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to develop engaging print and digital product design solutions
Training and managing vendors to help scale our work
Advocating for the user throughout product development
Desired Requirements & Experience
BA or formal design degree or related field required
3-5+ years of work experience with web and/or print visual design
Expert knowledge of Adobe CC programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
A portfolio demonstrating strong visual sensibilities, compelling ideas, and a thorough understanding of design process
Understanding web standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML.
